Meet Lyla & Bre

Welcome to Our Days in Neverland! 

My name is BreAnne and this is a little about me. I grew up on the stage and got my BFA in Music, Dance, Theater from Brigham Young University.

As much as I loved the idea of Broadway I met a handsome man who asked me to marry him and whisked me away to the East coast.

Our daughter Lyla was expected to be born in January of 2012, but she just couldn't wait and came a couple days after Christmas. instead From the moment I saw her I feel in love. She has been a blessing to our home every day.

Lyla is now 2 1/2 and the queen of our home. She has a strong and delightful personality that keeps us laughing all day. If there's one thing she can't stand it is being bored!

We belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, also referred to as "Mormons". If you would like to learn more visit www.mormon.org.We were married in the Salt Lake City Temple.

So what is this blog about? Well, Peter Pan was always one of my favorite stories throughout my life. There something very enticing about never growing old and being able to fly. I have always loved these words from the famous song Never Never Land: "I know a place where dreams are born and time is never planned. It's not on any chart, you must find it in your heart never never land."  Just like Wendy, Michael, and John couldn't fly until THEY came up with their own happy thought, each one of us has to find our own Neverland. I hope this blog provides some inspiration for you as it helps to motivate me. Here's a little glimpse into our world, enjoy!
